Kathy Taylor is a Transformational Coach, Workshop Facilitator, and Leadership Specialist. She is passionate about connecting people with communication styles to create change. Her focus is on sharing practical strategies, tools, and processes to get positive results in the areas of Personal and Professional Development.

Kathy has spent over thirty years educating adult professionals in the public school, assisting transitioning military service members and corporate clients alike. Her desire to listen before acting has created opportunities for her to be a sort-after consultant and trainer for new business owners, career seekers, and staff development training and workshops.

 

​As a learning facilitator, she creates opportunities for participants to gain knowledge and be empowered through live and virtual training platforms. Whether it be a workshop, small group discussions, or business consultation, Kathy helps her audience connect the dots to their purpose. Her focus areas are related to Personal and Professional Development leading with Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0 and EQ360) paired with human behavior and personality assessment styles (DISC and DiSC 360), Starting a Business mindset, and strategizing creative business ideas. Whether working with a new business owner or a professional transitioning careers, she leans in and asks the tough questions focused on your why. Kathy is energized by helping people understand who they are now. She's always honored to be invited on the journey to see the transformation into whom they are becoming.

 

She constantly engages in continuing education courses and research for evolving trends in her specialty areas. She received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University. Kathy is a certified and skilled Life Coach and Emotional Intelligence Practitioner.  She has also completed numerous other certifications related to Leadership Development.

​In addition to everything else, she is also a published author and podcaster. Kathy is passionate about helping people and providing service with excellence. She currently serves as the Co-Director of Volunteers for Black BRAND Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. You can often find her building relationships within her community and connecting people with resources needed for personal and professional growth.
